Both
Alison and Stephen graduated in Fine Art Sculpture. After leaving college Alison
began working with clay, enjoying the immediacy and
flexibility
of the medium. Her work is mainly animal based and more recently includes figurative
pieces. She is inspired by the work of writer / illustrators from the quirkiness
of Quentin Blake and the subtle colours of Lizbeth Zwerger, to the dark humour
of Edward Gorey. Her work is made in small editions, although one-off pieces
and commissions are also available.
